Okinawa L
150 x 80 x 80 cm
Aluminium, LED
Okinawa is a lamp designed by Iskandar Jani. The second one of the collection "The urge to see the world". The lamp was designed as a twin sister of Ipanema, with a complete opposite Personality. Where Ipanema stands for an openness of form and attitude as the energy of Brazilian beaches, Okinawa represents a more reserved and modest attitude as it can be perceived in the Japanese culture.
Okinawa is an indoor lamp made out of two laser-cut 0,5mm raw aluminium sheets, scratched and waxed by hand to create a unique imprint - each step is made in Belgium.
