Ipanema is a lamp designed by Iskandar Degouis. The first lamp of the collection "The urge to see the world" was ipanema. the project was inspired during the first lockdown in 2020 by the song "Girl from Ipaanema" nterpreted by strud Gilberto and Stan Gets (1965). Its design was inspired by the extra-lrge beach's straw-hat and a strong desire of evasion.

Ipanema is an indoor lamp made out of two laser-cut 0,5mm raw aluminium sheets, scrateched and waxed by hand to create a unique imprint - each step is made in Belgium.
