Marta Cypel is a ceramic artist born in Milan in 1990. After living in Paris for several years, she settled in Lisbon, where she continues to create and experiment. Fascinated by geology and the natural processes of landscape formation and erosion, Marta explores these themes through ceramics, creating unique pieces that tell stories of transformation and resilience.
Each of Marta's works is meticulously handcrafted in her studio, signed by the artist with the initials MCO, and testifies to her artisanal approach and her attachment to the authenticity of handwork. Her work is distinguished by sculptural pieces, often inspired by organic forms and natural textures, fusing the raw beauty of earth with the elegance of contemporary ceramics.
Marta's creations question the permanence and impermanence of our fragile existences, echoing both the beauty and fragility of nature. Her work has been exhibited in many international galleries and events, and continues to inspire with its evocative power and refined simplicity.
