The Grège Gallery and Amélie Maison d'art present ‘Se Souvenir des Belles Choses’: an exhibition of works by Juliette Lemontey and Laura Pasquino in the historic setting of the Château de Houtain-Le-Val. The duo exhibition immerses visitors in the visual poetry of Juliette's works and Laura's ceramics in the magical atmosphere of a place steeped in history: built in the 12th century, this Château has witnessed the vicissitudes of history, from the passion of the Duke of Brabant to the resilience of the women who have left their mark on its walls.

Juliette Lemontey, a French painter inspired by the lives of others, the grace of movement and the silent narratives of faces, is working on a theme of memory and identity that echoes the history of Château de Houtain-Le-Val. This collaboration also marks the arrival of Juliette Lemontey at the Grège Gallery in Belgium.

Laura Pasquino, a ceramist based in Amsterdam, explores the duality of life, its softness and hardness. Playing on the textures, raw strength and organic forms of nature, her ceramics, marked by cracks and tears, become visual metaphors for human wounds and scars.

‘Se Souvenir des Belles Choses’ offers a real immersion in the very essence of the château, where contemporary art meets the past and the history of the place.
