Grège Gallery presents a new exhibition by multidisciplinary artist Chidy Wayne, showcasing two series of his works - Pugna and Ego.
Chidy Wayne, a Spanish-Guinea multidisciplinary artist, who’s based currently in Barcelona where he continues to create captivating works that explore universal themes of existence, identity, and inner conflict. Wayne's minimalist and fluid style has garnered critical acclaim and has been showcased in exhibitions around the world.
From March, visitors can experience the captivating and minimalist work of Chidy Wayne. The Pugna collection, which derives from the Latin word for "fight," explores the constant questioning and force within ourselves that push and pull us forward and backwards as we strive to achieve our goals. Meanwhile, the Ego Series, which takes its name from the Latin word for "I," reflects the intimate conversations within us through the symbolization of open palms.
Wayne's aesthetic and conceptual works, which range from paintings and sculptures to illustrations and music, are deeply influenced by universal and timeless themes.
